Several of BM’s friends have begun planning a baby shower for her. We are very lucky to have the kinds of friends that we do and we are very thankful for all that they/you have done over the past several months.

I know we have lots of blog readers and I am peppered with questions all the time about my lack of updating every day. Bottom line is that as much as I would like it to writing this blog doesn’t pay the bills but it is a nice way to communicate with everyone.

But, back to the baby shower. Anyone that knows BM and I knows that we are much more the gift giving types than the receiving types and we love to give help rather than asking for help. So the baby shower is a little bit unusual for us. We know that everyone is really excited and wants to help us as we begin our journey, but at the same time we have been self sufficient for so long, it simply is a little foreign to us to have this much attention focused on us. Needless to say, we love you all and want you to know how much we appreciate all that everyone has done during this process.
